Classes
We run a range of classes, for children aged 2½ to 19 years old. The list below gives a brief description the classes, including when they run. All classes run at the Regency Health Club.
What class for what age?
Here’s a rough guide on which classes are for which ages:
- » 2½ to 4½ years old: Nursery
- » 4½ to 6 years old: Infants
- » 7 to 10 years old: Juniors
- » 11 to 14 years old: Inters
- » 15+ years old: Seniors
- » 11-18 years old: Lyrical
- » 8 to 12 years old: Acrobatics
- » 8 to 12 years old: Youth street dance
- » Teens only: Teen Street Dance

Nursery
A preparation class for children aged 3 ½ to 4yrs…
This class is designed to prepare our students for entering into our mainstream classes. Students have the opportunity to work towards ‘Rose Awards’ in ballet, modern, tap and acrobatic dance forms. This class provides students with the opportunity to achieve certificates and awards allowing your child to recognise their progress.
Saturday 11.00-12.00pm £3.75 per class
Infants
An exciting class for children aged 5 to 7yrs…
In an encouraging and fun filled environment, students begin to progress through the BTDA (British Theatre Dance Association) syllabus. In this class students are encouraged to progress through examinations in ballet, modern, tap and acrobatic dance. Their efforts are rewarded with graded certificates and medals.
Monday (attendance to this class is by invitation only).
Stage Class 4.15-6.00pm. £4.00 per class
Saturday. Combination Class 12.00-1.30pm £5.50 per class
Juniors
A fun and challenging class for children aged 8 to 10yrs…
This class allows our students to develop further through the BTDA syllabus, achieving higher levels of recognition, and strengthening their technical ability in ballet, modern, tap and acrobatic dance. These students thrive on achievement and enjoy a challenge.
Monday (Attendance to this class is by invitation only).
Stage Class 4.15-6.00pm £4.00 per class
Saturday. Combination Class 1.30-3.15pm £5.50 per class
Inters
A class to advance to a higher level of dance for children aged 11 to 14yrs…
As well as continuing to work through the BTDA syllabus, we encourage students to focus on their performance skills, thus developing their confidence. Students study ballet, modern, tap and acrobatic dance, as well as having the opportunity to attend further classes in lyrical and street dance.
Thursday. Street Dance 8.00-9.00pm. (13+yrs only)
Friday (attendance to this class is by invitation only).
Stage Class 4.15-6.00pm. £4.00 per class
Saturday. Combination Class 3.15-5.00pm. £5.50 per class
Saturday. Lyrical 5.00-5.30pm. £2.50 per class
Seniors
An advanced class for students aged 15 to 19yrs…
Students concentrate on finishing their examinations with BTDA. In this class we also emphasize the importance of developing their performance skills, by offering them numerous opportunities to display their talents. Students can study ballet, modern, tap and acrobatics, as well as attending further classes in lyrical and street dance.
Thursday. Street Dance 8.00-9.00pm
Friday. Ballet 6.00-6.30pm. £2.50 per class
Saturday. Lyrical 5.00-5.30pm. £2.50 per class
Saturday. Combination Class 5.30-7.00pm. £5.50 per class
Acrobatics
A non-commitment class for for children aged 8 to 12yrs…
A non-commitment class, dedicated to the popular discipline of Acrobatics. The class provides a fun-based environment, in which flexibility, balance and strength can be improved. Students have the opportunity to focus on developing both static and tumbling acrobatical demonstrations
Tuesday. 5-6pm
Youth Street Dance
A non-commitment class for for children aged 8 to 12yrs…
Students learn a variety of new routines to the latest chart topping tunes. Although the emphasis for this class is firmly placed on fun, the extra practise is often beneficial to the skills students use in other Fiery Feet classes. Open to all, not just current Fiery Feet pupils.
Tuesday. 4-5pm
Teen Street Dance
A non-commitment class for for children aged 13 to 19yrs…
Students learn a variety of new routines to the latest chart topping tunes. Although the emphasis for this class is firmly placed on fun, the extra practise is often beneficial to the skills students use in other Fiery Feet classes. Open to all, not just current Fiery Feet pupils.
